There's been some adventurous cooking going on at our place (and by adventurous I mean not meat and veg)!  It's a bit fun experimenting with different flavours and dabbling in a bit more seafood, which up till now I thought was a food reserved for chefs and master cooks. My new years resolution is starting a little early; I'm going to try to be more creative in the kitchen and use more herbs! I used mint for the first time the other night and I couldn't get it out of my mind that the mint sauce was going to taste like toothpaste. But it was delicious! It pays to try foods before making judgements on them. (Speaking of foods that are judged harshly, my favourite veggies at the moment are brussel sprouts! Yum!!!)
